Biography

Chelsea S. Williamson was admitted to the Missouri Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri in 2001; and the Kansas Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in 2002. Chelsea completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas, where she obtained a B.S. in Business Administration in 1997. Chelsea attended law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City and obtained her law degree in 2001. She was also a member of the University of Missouri - Kansas City Law Review. Chelsea served two years as a member of the Bench Bar Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas, and for the Bankruptcy Ad Hoc Committee for the Western District of Missouri. Chelsea is currently a member of the following bar associations: American Bar Association, Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Johnson County Bar Association, Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association, and American Bankruptcy Institute. Over the years, Chelsea is a frequent guest speaker at the Missouri Bar Annual Bankruptcy Institute, the American Bankruptcy Institute Annual Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute, and various Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association seminars. Chelsea serves as a member of the Legal Aid of Western Missouri Voluntary Attorney Project.
